May 2010 is a critical time for nuclear security. The Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) Review Conference will be held at the United Nations from May 3rd to the 28th. Prior to the start of the Review Conference, an International Day of Action will take place this Sunday, May 2nd, in New York City.
The NGO peace and disarmament community will be showing a five minute video at the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty Review Conference at the United Nations this May, comprised of video clips from people around the world speaking about their desire to live in a world without nuclear weapons.
