What is your opinion — Does the United States need to continue testing its nuclear weapons?

Can a ban on nuclear testing be verified?

Will U.S. ratification have any effect on other Annex 2 states to sign away their right to test?

Thank you for your continued support of FAS and the Nuclear Security Program!

It doesn’t matter on whether the US ratifies the CTBT. The life and death of the EIF of the CTBT rests with what DPRK does. If they don’t sign and ratify the treaty, then the CTBT shall never EIF.
